After a fall, to protect your rights, you should take pictures of whatever caused you to fall. You should take pictures of the area surrounding where you fell. You should report the fall to store personnel. You want to make sure that store personnel actually prepare a written report regarding your fall. Whether it’s a slip and fall at walmart, a slip and fall at Krogers, a slip and fall at Target, or other slip and fall at store, it’s really, really difficult to recover in a slip and fall, or a trip and fall case if the store doesn’t believe that it actually happened on their premise because you haven’t requested that a report be filled out.
