Yes. You can sue if your child has been burned. When children have been burned they can be really really severe due to how tender their skin is. And there’s nothing more horrifying to a parent than to see their child burn and to see their child suffer after having been burned. I can remember when my son was a young child and we would go to a restaurant and servers would serve hot food over his head or hand hot coffee to the table over top of the child and it used to just horrify me that my child could be severely burned if that happened. It reminded me of a case that I handled as a young child burn injury lawyer where a four year old child was burned very severely by hot gravy that was spilled by a server.
