Can a bar, restaurant, or liquor store be responsible for alcohol sold or given to a minor?

If alcohol is sold or given to a minor the restaurant or bar may be held liable. Under Texas law you can’t furnish alcohol to someone who is under 18 years of age. If you do and that person drives off and ends up injuring people you will be held liable.
